Initial Consultation

One hour of initial advice from one of our specialist motoring Solicitors regarding your case – £150 plus VAT.

Driving Offenses:

Guilty Plea and Mitigation (without court appearance) – This option is available if you have committed a minor driving offense (for instance, a low-level speeding violation) and wish to submit a Guilty Plea while seeking to reduce the penalty (including fines and penalty points) without needing to appear in court – £850 plus VAT.

Guilty Plea and Mitigation (with court representation) – This applies if you have committed a more serious driving offense and want to enter a Guilty Plea while aiming to lessen your sentence or achieve a particular outcome (for example, if you risk disqualification from driving or if you are a new driver). This service includes representation by one of our Solicitors or Barristers in court – £2000 plus VAT.

Guilty Plea and Exceptional Hardship (with court representation) – This option is relevant if you have committed a driving offense and, due to any penalty points the court may impose, you face the risk of being disqualified from driving for six months or longer because of accumulating 12 or more penalty points (commonly referred to as “totting up”). This service includes representation by one of our Solicitors or Barristers in court – £2000 – £2600 plus VAT.

Guilty Plea and Special Reasons (with court representation) – This applies if you have committed a driving offense (excluding those related to “drink driving”) and wish to argue that there were “special circumstances related to the offense” (for example, if you were driving without insurance and were unaware of your uninsured status) so that the court may choose not to impose penalty points – £1800 – £2500 plus VAT.

Not Guilty Plea and Trial (with court representation) – This option is for those accused of a driving offense (such as using a mobile phone while driving or failing to provide driver information) who wish to enter a Not Guilty Plea and contest the prosecution’s case against them at trial. This fee includes representation in court by one of our Solicitors or Barristers – £2200 – £2800 plus VAT.

Driving Under the Influence Offenses:

Guilty Plea and Mitigation for Drink Driving or Failing to Provide an Evidential Specimen (with court representation) – This applies if you wish to enter a Guilty Plea for a charge of Drink Driving or for failing to provide an evidential specimen and want to minimize the sentence imposed by the court (including reducing the punishment and the duration of the disqualification) – £2000 plus VAT included for cases resolved in one hearing and £2800 plus VAT for cases resolved in two hearings.

Guilty Plea and Special Reasons Application for Drink Driving (with court representation) – This applies if you acknowledge a drink driving offense but have valid grounds to argue that the court should not enforce a mandatory disqualification period (for example, due to the short distance driven, an emergency situation, or “laced drinks”) – £4800 to £6500 plus VAT.

Not Guilty Plea and Trial for Drink Driving (with court representation) – This option is for individuals who do not accept that they were “drink driving” or who wish to exercise their legal right to contest the allegation against them by entering a Not Guilty Plea. This fixed fee covers your representation in court by one of our Solicitors or Barristers across up to three hearings (which should be adequate to resolve the case), including representation during your trial – £5400 to £7500 plus VAT.

Not Guilty Plea and Trial for Failing to Provide an Evidential Specimen (with court representation) – This applies if you have been charged with failing to provide an evidential specimen and wish to enter a Not Guilty Plea to challenge the prosecution’s case against you (this could be due to having a “reasonable excuse” or disputing the evidential procedure). This fixed fee includes your representation in court by one of our Solicitors or Barristers across up to three hearings (which should be sufficient to conclude the case) – £6000 to £7800 plus VAT.
